A little about me...

Sophie Atkins launched Razzamataz Wimbledon in September 2016, after working for the company previously for 4 years as a teacher in various other schools. She focused on Performing Arts from a young age and has also attended a Performing Arts College where she obtained a BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts. Sophie loves having her own Razzamataz School and is really looking forward to Wimbledon’s second Christmas Presentation in December. Sophie loves seeing her students grow, develop and learn through Razzamataz Wimbledon.

Jasper Jarman-Norris

Assistant Principal

Jasper is an Actor, working in the industry full-time: working in an award-winning play; and an upcoming Disney motion picture . Currently he is honoured to be an ambassador for The National Youth Theatre, supporting their incredible work increasing accessibility of performing arts to young people. Jasper is highly trained in physical theatre and dramatic combat. He is absolutely thrilled with how the school has performed, and can't wait to push it this year.

Eleanor Hutchinson

Dance Teacher

Originally from Yorkshire Ellie moved to London a year ago to study at the London College of Music where she is currently training for a degree in musical theatre. Performing from a young age Ellie has lots of experience and has performed in some of the best venues in the country: such as The O2 Arena, Hull New Theatre and The West-end’s Adelphi Theatre. Her most recent performance was in the new musical Brass at the Hackney Empire in Summer 2016.

Melissa Toy

Singing Teacher

Originally from New Zealand, Melissa moved to the UK to continue developing her career within the performing arts. She is currently studying a BA (Hons) in Creative Musicianship with the British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) in London, whilst also training with the Institute of Vocal Advancement. She loves helping students achieve their greatest potential by discovering their unique voice; not only through correct technique but through expression, exploration and enjoyment.

Rosie Nisbet

Minis 1 and Drama Teacher

Rosie has been performing since aged two, having been in many theatre productions in Birmingham and working on several short films. She is currently training in Acting at Arts Educational Schools London. Rosie is most excited to teach the students confidence, team work and the ability to express themselves . She is passionate about making sure that all of her students not only improve on their technical performance skills, but also that they can use their experiences to help them excel in all areas.

Matilda Childs

Minis 2 Teacher and Classroom Assistant

Matilda is currently training at the London College of Music after having trained at Arts Education and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Matilda has attended many different stage schools growing up; and has performed at some incredible locations such as Her Majesty's Theatre in London and DisneyLand Paris.

Jessie Angell

Tots Teacher and Admin Assistant

Originally from Bournemouth, Jessie moved to London two years ago to study for a degree in Musical Theatre at The Arts Educational Schools London. Jessie has attended theatre schools from the age of 2, and performed in various shows throughout her life. Jessie knows how important having fun whilst training can be and is so excited to be part of the team! 

Katie Squirrell

Classroom Assistant

Katie qualified as an outstanding dance teacher from the Royal Academy of Dance, this training qualified her in secondary state education, while also providing experience in primary, gifted and talented institutions, pupil referral units and working with special education needs schools. Katie also gained a first class degree at Edge Hill University in Dance. Katie believes the skills learnt in the performing arts provide students with resilience, determination and a positive outlook on life; which are skills crucial to the success in any chosen career.
